At IBM Corporate Development Strategy team, Henry develops growth strategies, evaluates M&A and external investment opportunities, leads strategic projects to formulate new business models, international joint ventures, and innovation programs like Accelerators. He also leads the preparation of M&A forums for IBM senior executives.
Henry has been serving IBM for the last 16 years. Prior to his current role, Henry was the CFO of IBM Systems Strategic Imperatives (e.g. Cloud and Analytics). He once provided risk management consulting to IBM’s top client in China. His previous roles span finance, management consulting and risk management, across IBM, A.T. Kearney and Ford Motor Company.
Henry has won "Innovation for Growth" and other IBM awards due to his leadership with developing and leading high-performance teams in driving innovation and delivering growth. In personal time, he is the CT/Westchester Chapter President for Ascend, the largest non-profit organization for Asian Professionals in North America. He won the "High-Impact Leader" award from Ascend.
Henry holds an MBA from Columbia University, an M.S. in Engineering Management from Stanford, and a B.S. from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, dual major in International Trade and Computer Science.
