Doug Bloom is an Executive Coach based in Philadelphia, serving CEOs, entrepreneurs, investors and other wealth creators. Doug is also the Philadelphia Chair for TIGER 21, an international peer network for high net worth individuals. Doug’s work with CEOs centers on establishing Culture and Team as the foundation for sustained growth and success.
For the past 30 years, Doug has been a member of or has been engaged by the investors and/or senior leadership of early-stage, rapid-growth companies. Doug’s experience includes: venture investing; corporate acquisitions; private purchases/divestments of companies; “intra-preneuring”; startups; corporate technology investment/partnerships; business segment shutdowns; raising equity; selling companies; and serving on private Boards. Doug’s financing background includes successful start-up and growth stage capital fund raises and corporate exits.
Operationally, most recently from 2006 to 2016, Doug was Chairman and CEO of RealWinWin, a privately held, venture-backed energy services company, headquartered in Philadelphia and sold to BidEnergy (AUS) in 2016. Doug's other operational experience includes senior leadership roles in sales, business development, and IT. Doug has held hands-on, start-up leadership roles in retail, consulting, software and business services.
Doug serves on the Board of Pathways to Housing PA, a non-profit providing housing and other assistance to the chronically homeless in Philadelphia and Doug provides pro-bono management consulting to other Philadelphia-based non-profits through COMPASS. Doug has an MBA from the Wharton School, an MSE from the University of Pennsylvania and a BA degree from Colgate University.
